Chandler Dismissed As Utilities Superintendent

  Members of the Lawrenceburg Utility Board opted Monday to sever the employment of Utilities Superintendent Renee Chandler.

  The announcement came Monday afternoon in the wake of an executive session of the board. Citing “differences in management style,” the board voted unanimously to dismiss Chandler, who was one, if not the only female in the state to serve as a Utilities Superintendent.

  Engineer Vic Pusser, who has been employed through the department for approximately two years, has been named Interim Superintendent.
